Community Rights

One of your rights as a patient is the right to contact CLRP to ask for help.

CLRP represents low-income persons living in the community who receive or are eligible to receive treatment and services from the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) on systemic issues, such as employment discrimination, housing discrimination, and denial or termination of services.


Access to Records

Conservatorship

Conservators are appointed by the Probate Court to help individuals who are found to be unable to care for themselves and/or their property. Employment

Housing

CLRP provides education, advice and representation to clients on discrimination related matters, specifically people who are being denied safe, decent and affordable housing because of their disability. However, CLRP can become involved in a broader range of problems, collaborating with providers to intervene and resolve housing issues as early as possible. Money Management

Residential Care Homes
